Florida finally joined the rest of the free states where open carry is the law of the land. But passing the law was only step one. The real work starts now.

We’re not here to push people to force people to open carry everywhere they go. That wouldn't be wise.
We’re here to make sure every Floridian has the choice — open or concealed — and to protect that choice from politicians, anti-gun lobbyists, and media spin.

Why We Exist
Every time a right is restored, it must be defended. The fight for open carry in Florida was won — but it’s not over. The other side is waiting for us to get comfortable, divided, or disorganized. We won’t let that happen.
Open Carry Florida is the organization making sure the gains we’ve made stay permanent — and that our rights continue to grow stronger.
